The tragedy of war is that most of the time it could be avoided, if only commonsense was applied or if there were more women as heads of countries across the world!! The inherent testosterone driven, macho arrogance of global politicians so often leads to wars that without exception are ultimately resolved with a political solution.

That opening statement in no way dismisses or diminishes the fortitude, bravery, courage, tenacity and determination of soldiers across the world and across the centuries.
