2013 marks the 35th Anniversary of the release of The Cars debut album , self titled “The Cars”. The album was produced by Roy Thomas Baker and released in early June 1978. The album was seen as introducing new wave into the mainstream with hits like “Just What I Needed” and “My Best Friend’s Girl”.

The Cars’ “My Best Friend’s Girl” single was the first picture disc ever produced and so in order to mark the 35th Anniversary of the release of The Cars debut album, MyFirstRecord.co.uk is offering YOU the chance to win a framed copy of The Cars’ “My Best Friend’s Girl” picture disc ( see opposite ).
