Some of the more iconic chattels and artefacts of Sir Jimmy Savile’s flamboyant life will be auctioned for charity. Jimmy Savile, best 
known for his BBC TV work hosting “Top Of The Pops” and “Jim’ll Fix It” scrupulously retained every souvenir of his eccentric life. The collection includes his famous ‘Jim’ll Fix it’ chair, a £90,000 Rolls-Royce Corniche, a £12,000 gold and diamond encrusted Rolex watch, a gold identity bracelet and rings, his yellow BMW bubble car and some of his trademark Cuban cigars.
This got me thinking – if I had the funds and finances, which memorable artefacts from the iconic TV shows of my childhood in the 1960s and 1970s would I want to buy at auction? Here goes with a Top 10……..

I totally agree with you. The man was a serial sexual predator, but only got away with it for so long because senior management in certain institutions colluded by turning a blind eye to his sickening crimes!!
