Earth Wind and Fire will be releasing a new album “Now, Then & Forever” the group’s first in eight years, on the 10th September 2013. It’s an appropriate and fitting month for the release as the band are synonymous with “September”, one of their biggest hit singles.

Meanwhile Earth Wind and Fire have just released their latest single, “My Promise”, a track off the new album. According to Billboard magazine, the album “whilst contemporary in feel, retains the classic sound of Earth Wind and Fire”.

That’s good news because Earth Wind and Fire always had great energy and verve and were rightfully at the centre of the disco movement in the 1970s, with bands like Chic, Sister Sledge, Rose Royce and Heatwave.
