To mark Kylie Minogue’s 25th anniversary in the music industry, she has recently released “The Abbey Road Sessions” which is is an orchestral compilation album of Kylie Minogue’s greatest hits. The “The Abbey Road Sessions” album was produced by Steve Anderson and Colin Elliot and features sixteen tracks, all completely reworked. The album was recorded at London’s Abbey Road Studios with Kylie Minogue’s band and a full orchestra during November 2011. The album is primarily orchestral music, featuring guitars, pianos, strings and drums. The album’s single “Flower”, which was originally written in 2008, is a new titled song to the album.

So what is the essence of Kylie Minogue’s enduring success? Simply she is absolutely adorable and from the moment she appeared on the TV Soap “Neighbours”, she and Jason Donovan were adopted as Brits. Rarely has a non Brit become a national treasure in the UK, although ironically the same can also be said for fellow Aussies Barry Humphries aka Dame Edna Humphries and Rolf Harris!! So maybe we Brits feel a closer affinity to Australia than we like to admit.

The truth of the matter is that Kylie Minogue would be popular in the UK, even if she had come from another planet – Venus ( the Goddess of Love ) would be the most appropriate!!
