Eagles of Death Metal, the US rock band who were performing at Le Bataclan theatre on Friday night when gunmen opened fire, have entered the Official Singles Chart. They have entered the UK Chart at No96 after an online Facebook campaign with a cover version of Duran Duran’s “Save A Prayer”. It was only a couple of weeks ago Eagles of Death Metal performed  “Save A Prayer” on TFI Friday with Duran Duran. Sadly what a difference a couple of weeks makes…..

Albeit a wholly inappropriate band name under such horrendous circumstances, nevertheless the song title could not be more apt……..So if you have not already done so, save a prayer for those poor souls in Paris and their family & friends. Vive La France……..Vive Liberte
